CMP Announces Reorganization of Senior Management TeamCEO Steve Zimmermann to resume his role as President of CMP Advanced Mechanical Solutions.
January 23, 2009 Chateauguay, Quebec – CMP announced today the reorganization of its Senior Management Team, in particular, to the role of President. The goal of the reorganization is to streamline the Senior Management Team to allow for rapid response to the current economic reality. Present-day CEO Steve Zimmermann will once again assume the role as President of CMP Advanced Mechanical Solutions effective immediately. Zimmermann served as President prior to Ralph Sandle Jr. taking on the role in August of 2006 when Canadian and American operations were merged. To date, CMP consists of a Canadian-based manufacturing facility and design center and U.S.-based manufacturing facilities located in New York state and North Carolina. As President, Zimmermann will oversee the company’s operations group providing guidance and leadership to the General Manager of each facility to continue to strive for success and achieve corporate objectives for growth. Sandle jr. was a part of the CMP family for 4 years, 2 of which he served as President. In this time, his dedication and support for strong customer relationships strengthened the importance of a customer-centric organization. As a result, CMP made significant improvements in the past years to its management structure and customer-related processes.
